COVID-19 UPDATE

As COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) continues to cause uncertainty among our business community, we are communicating to our valued customers and suppliers to share the steps we are implementing to minimize the impact to our daily business practices; including customer deliveries.  As you have known, Governor Gavin Newsom, along with the CA Public Heath Office issued an executive “Stay at Home” order last night, Thursday, March 19, 2020. This order applies to most industry sectors. However, the US Federal Government in accordance with Presidential Policy Directive 21, allows for certain critical infrastructure sectors to remain open during this order.  As part of the military/aerospace industry, HiTEM provides essential goods and services that are an integral component to the supply chain in support of our specific industries.

Company Operational Status:

HiTEM is currently operating within normal operational limits for manufacturing services, including supply chain, product fulfillment, and on-time delivery of products. However, Management will continue to assess the situation daily and will post any known shipping delays or business disruptions on our website or via communication from our program management and supply chain teams.

Health & Safety Actions:

We are adhering to all recommendations from U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our local authorities. We are also following OSHA’s workplace safety guidelines and have taken precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of germs.

  • Increased facility cleaning and disinfection cycles
  • Implemented travel and visitor restrictions
  • Defined work from home policies where possible, and
  • Ensure a healthy work environment with social distancing, hand washing, etc.
