Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

While new product design, development and simple bench testing procedures for printed circuit boards may be ideal in the research and development phase, the efficiencies and costs savings around mass manufacturing and testing is often not factored in, (off course there are some that do). This is where we add value; at HiTEM we have a team of engineers who are able to provide design for manufacture and testing recommendations. The key goal in providing this service is reducing costs, creating efficiencies and possibly finding more economical substitute components. This is a consultative service– where we work closely with our clients to provide optimal manufacturing and testing solutions.
