January 2011 - Hi-Tech Electronic Manufacturing named 2010 Best of San Diego
U.S. Local Business Association names HiTEM one of their "Best of 2010" companies in the category of Manufacturers.
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
October 2010 - Hi-Tech Electronic Manufacturing awarded ISO 13485 Certificate
HiTEM earned their ISO 13485 certificate on their first audit. The ISO 13485 quality management standard covers the medical device industry. HiTEM is one of three contract manufacturers in San Diego with the AS9100 and ISO 13485, and the only one that has the "service first" attitude which means there is no minimum order size or other prerequisites to do business with us.
August 2010 - Hi-Tech Electronic Manufacturing awarded AS9100B Certificate
HiTEM earned their AS9100 certificate for seventh year. The AS9100 quality management standard covers the aviation, space, and defense industries.
January 2010 - Hi-Tech Electronic Manufacturing named World Class Supplier by Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems
HiTEM was recognized by Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems of as a World Class Supplier for printed circuit cards and box builds for 2009. This was HiTEM's second such award. The previous award was in 2006 from the Space Technologies sector.
