Equipment

As Hi-Tech Electronic Manufacturing, Inc. (HiTEM) continues to grow, we are committed to purchase the equipment needed to provide our customers with the highest quality services. Our "state of the art" equipment is maintained daily to ensure defect free products and on time delivery.

The heart of any EMS provider is in their surface mount technology (SMT) capability. We have upgraded our SMT pick and place machines to the Samsung SM321. We have 3 new machines installed. The Samsung SM321 has the capacity to place 21,000 chips per hour (cph) at 1505m accuracy and up to 5,500 cph at 1305m for QFPs and BGAs. The component handling ranges from 01005 through 55mm2, and the board size handling ranges from a maximum 18"x16" to a minimum 2"x2". HiTEM is serious about upgrading our capabilities!
